Organic Eggnog

Classic Eggnog, Made Better 🥛🥚 Creamy, fresh and made with Pasture-Raised Organic Love Your Eggs, this homemade eggnog is worth the whisking!

Ingredients:
- 6 large Organic Pasture-Raised Love Your Eggs (yolks separated)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Dash of nutmeg
- Dash of salt
Directions:
- Separate 6 egg yolks from the whites of the egg.
- Gradually whisk in 1 cup sugar until creamy.
- In a saucepan, combine milk, cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Heat gently until steaming (don’t boil!).
- Temper the egg yolk and sugar mixture by slowly pouring a little hot milk into the yolks while whisking.
- Once the yolk mixture is tempered add the mixture to the saucepan and cook on low, stirring constantly, until it thickens slightly (about 5–7 minutes).
- Remove from heat, cool, then refrigerate until cold.
- Serve, spike if you would like and enjoy the holiday!
