Strawberry Croissant French Toast Casserole.

This crowd-pleasing casserole combines flaky croissants, juicy strawberries, and a creamy vanilla-egg custard. It’s easy to assemble ahead of time and bakes into a golden, indulgent breakfast perfect for holidays, brunches, or treating your family on a slow morning.

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs

  • 2 cups whole milk

  • 4 tbs butter,melted

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

  • 6–8 large croissants or 12 mini, torn into large chunks

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (for garnish)

  • Butter or nonstick spray (for greasing dish)

  • Maple syrup (for serving)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.

  2. Tear the croissants into large chunks and place them in the baking dish.

  3. Add the strawberries evenly over the croissant pieces.

  4. Make the custard: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until well blended.

  5. Pour the custard mixture evenly over the croissants and strawberries. Press gently to ensure all pieces are soaked.

  6. Rest (optional): Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes or overnight for best results.

  7. Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, until golden and set in the center.

  8. Serve: Cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and serve with maple syrup.
