Directions:

  1. Boil the Eggs – Start with one dozen Outdoor-Cage Free Love Your Eggs. Place them in a pot of cold water, making sure the eggs are fully submerged. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat. Once boiling, cook to your preference—about 7–8 minutes for medium (for a creamier yolk), 10–12 minutes for hard, or make a mix of both so you get some variety.
  2. Cool & Peel – When the eggs are finished, carefully transfer them into a large bowl of ice water. Let them sit for at least 20 minutes—this stops the cooking and makes peeling easier. Once cooled, gently tap and roll each egg on the counter to loosen the shell, then peel under running water for a cleaner finish.
  3. Prepare the Filling – Slice each egg in half lengthwise and place the whites on a serving tray. Scoop the yolks into a mixing bowl and mash them until smooth. Stir in mayonnaise (we like to keep it simple with just mayo, but feel free to add mustard, lemon juice, or your favorite seasonings for extra flavor). Mix until creamy and well combined.
  4. Pipe & Fill – Transfer the yolk mixture into a piping bag (a zip-top bag with the corner snipped works too!) for a clean, bakery-style look. Pipe or spoon the filling back into the egg whites, making sure each one gets a nice, generous swirl.
  5. Top & Serve – This is the fun part! Choose your toppings from the list below—or mix and match to create your own unique flight. Arrange them on a platter, label the flavors if you’d like, and serve them up as a show-stopping appetizer.
